 The Pressure Treated Decking Kit is an attractive and sturdy feature for any garden or patio. The pre-cut kit comes with thick sturdy 6 x 2 pressure treated joists, 32mm thick and 150mm wide deck timber boards (these are wider and thicker than most decking kits sold) - giving you a long lasting and stronger, robust decking finish.  

Construction Main Points

• The decking is constructed from high quality pressure treated Scandinavia soft wood
• The high quality floor joists give the decking a solid and sturdy feel.
• 6 x 2 Joist spaced approx 300mm apart - giving a strong robust base framing.
  
• Top grade timber is used throughout, sourced exclusively from Scandinavia where the best timber for decking is produced.
• The timber is tight grained producing less sap and is therefore a more durable timber than the faster growing timber used by other shed manufacturers.
• The benefit of purchasing a pressure treated building is that it is completely protected against rot, natural decay and pest damage for many years to come.
• Infused into the wood is a chemical preservative that goes deep into the fibres of the wood, as appose to externally applied preservatives. So rather than worrying about the longevity of your garden building, the timbers will mainly look after themselves. Only requiring an annual waterproofing topcoat, leaving you to enjoy your garden and rest assured that your garden items are in the best of hands.

Installation - We offer 3 levels of install of decking.

Install Level 1 - Easy Base - No Posts or spikes required. Base is level and flat and requires no groundworks.

 Install Level 2 - Un-even base. Posts required. Base is relatively level and may require minor groundworks.

 Install Level 3 - Un-even base. Posts and Spikes with Concrete Posts. Requires basic groundworks to allow for spikes and concrete posts to provide level base.
